Barry Strauss Barry Strauss is a military historian of ancient Greece and Rome. His new book, The Spartacus War (2009) tells the real story behind the legend of the revolt by gladiators and slaves that shook Rome to its foundations and led to 6,000 crucifixions. His other books include The Battle of Salamis (2004), The Trojan War (2006), and Rowing Against the Current: On Learning to Scull at Forty (1999). The Access Code in the box is provided in graphics format. It has letters which are generated randomly and the symbol images are distorted. The distorted symbols cannot be read by computer programs which are used for mass-collect email addresses and any customer information.
