A-PACT
A-PACT estimates the environmental impact of jet traffic around major airports.
A-PACT is an aircraft pollution accountability and compliance tracking system; it estimates and analyzes the emissions produced by aircraft, such as unburnt hydro9p-i'carbons (HC), carbon monoxide (CO), and oxides of nitrogen (NOx, including nitrous oxide, NO2).
A-PACT is the result of an undergraduate senior design project in Systems Engineering and Operations Research at George Mason University.
Dulles International Airport (IAD or KIAD) is used here as a case study.
A-PACT team members include Andrew (Drew) Keller-Goralczyk, Joshua Finks, Omar Mathir, David Helmly, and Abdulrahman (Abood) Althagafi.
