Loch Ness in Scotland is a very popular tourist destination due to Nessie the elusive Loch Ness monster a large water reptile, which has inspired many memorabilia. And then the unicorn: a horse with a single horn which grows out of its forehead and said to be very particular to drinking. The list of mythical creatures of the human/animal combinations will include the werewolf, tokoloshe, mermaid and the centaur. Werewolves, mermaids and centaurs have inspired many stories and films. The tokoloshe, however may not be all that familiar if you are not from Africa. It is described as a dwarflike, sometimes animal/human combination mischievous spirit which can cause damage if offended. To protect yourself, there is only one way: put your bed on bricks so that he cannot reach you!
